Last updated: September 11, 2023
This Cookie Policy explains how Locket Labs Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Locket”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with our Services. This Cookie Policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Cookie Policy, please contact us at privacy@locketcamera.com.
What are cookies?
- Cookies are text files stored and accessed on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s device, or to store information or settings in the device. This allows us to distinguish you from other users of our Services for the purpose of remembering your preferences, enabling or enhancing functionality and helping us understand activity and patterns.
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5, provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on your device.
- SDKs are blocks of code provided by our partners that may be installed in our mobile applications. SDKs help us understand how you interact with our Services and collect certain information about the device and network you use to access the Services. They also allow us and our advertising partners to target and serve advertising to you on the Services.
This Cookie Policy refers to all these technologies, and other types of tracking technologies used through our Services, collectively as “cookies.”
How do we use cookies?
We use both persistent cookies and session cookies. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them, while session cookies are stored until you end your session or shut off your device. The cookies placed through your use of our Services are either set by us (first-party cookies) or by a third party at our request (third-party cookies).
What types of cookies do we use?
We use the following categories of cookies:

Examples of third-party cookies we use for these purposes include:
How can you control the use of cookies?
Here are some of the ways you can limit online tracking. Please note that these opt-out tools are not associated with Locket and we cannot guarantee that these tools work as their providers advertise them:

- Advertising Industry Opt-Outs. You may be able to manage third-party advertising preferences for some of the third parties we work with by using the opt-out options available at:
- Blocking advertising ID use in your mobile settings. Your mobile device settings can provide functionality to limit use of the advertising ID associated with your mobile device for interest-based advertising purposes.
- Platform opt-outs. Some of our partners offer opt-out features that let you opt out of use of your information. For example, you can see Google’s opt-out features here.
Note that because these opt out mechanisms are specific to the device on which they are exercised, you will need to opt out on every device that you use.
